:
Mohamad Ibrahim est
titulaire d'un diplôme d'ingénieur en génie
mécanique de l'Université Libanaise et d'un Master en
énergie appliquée de l'Université
Américaine de Beyrouth. Il a obtenu son doctorat en
énergétique à l'Ecole des Mines de Paris en 2014.
Mohamad a travaillé trois ans
dans la division Bâtiment et Systèmes Thermiques du CEA
à INES avant
de rejoindre l'Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis en tant que
maitre de
conférences. Il enseigne au département des
bâtiments durables et intelligents
et effectue ses recherches au Polytech'Lab à l'école
polytechnique Nice Sophia.
Ses
intérêts de
recherche comprennent la conception de bâtiments passifs et
intelligents, les
enveloppes de bâtiments multifonctionnelles, les systèmes
d'énergie
renouvelable intégrés aux bâtiments, les
matériaux pour l'efficacité
énergétique et les concepts de bâtiment
intelligent. Il utilise des techniques
numériques, expérimentales et de simulation pour
l'évaluation de la performance
des systèmes physiques. Il est auteur et co-auteur de
plusieurs publications dans des revues et conférences
internationales et
co-auteur de deux brevets.
Mohamad Ibrahim holds
also
a Mechanical engineering Diploma from the Lebanese
University
and a Masters Engineering degreein
Applied Energy from the American
University
of Beirut. He has
received his PhD degree in in
energy engineering from the Ecole des Mines
de Paris (Mines
ParisTech), a foundind member of PSL Research University.
Mohamad has
worked three years at the Building and Thermal
systems division at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy
Commission (CEA) before joining the University of Nice
Sophia Antipolis
as an Assistant Professor. He teaches in the Department of Sustainable
and Smart Buildings
and carries out his research in PolyTech’Lab at the Polytechnic school of Engineering.
His
research interests include passive and smart
building designs, advanced multi-functional building envelopes,
building
integrated renewable energy systems, advanced materials for energy
efficiency,
and low carbon technologies for buildings. He uses numerical,
experimental and
simulation techniques for the performance assessment of physical
systems. He is
the co-author of two patents and is the author and co-authored of
several
articles in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and international
conference
proceedings.
